The presence of the priests in traditional attire and the sacred golden pillar symbolizes the spiritual foundation of the village community, inviting blessings of peace and prosperity into your space.

Masterful Artisan Craftsmanship

• Heritage & Lineage: Crafted by skilled artisans in Kondapalli, Andhra Pradesh, who trace their divine artistry back to the sage Muktharishi.
• Sustainable Material: Each element is hand-carved from Tella Poniki (White Sander), a rare, eco-friendly softwood found in the Kondapalli Hills, prized for its lightweight and durable properties.
• The Makku Technique: The figures and architectural elements are joined using makku — a traditional, biological paste made from tamarind seed powder and sawdust to ensure a firm, seamless finish.
• Hand-Painted Brilliance: Finished with vibrant vegetable dyes and paints, the set features the expressive facial details and bold colors that define the authentic Kondapalli style.
• GI-Tagged Authenticity: This product carries the official Geographical Indication (GI) status, certifying its origin and the preservation of traditional Indian folk art.

Product Usage & Golu Displays

• Golu Essential: A prestigious centerpiece for Bommala Koluvu (Golu) arrangements during Navratri and Sankranti. It is traditionally placed on the middle or lower tiers to depict religious institutions and village milestones.
• Cultural Gifting: An ideal gift for housewarmings, temple ceremonies, or for those who cherish traditional Indian heritage and craftsmanship.

Care Instructions

• Dusting: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth for regular cleaning.
• Moisture Control: Keep in a dry location. Never submerge in water or use wet wipes, as moisture can cause the softwood to warp and the biological adhesive to dissolve.
• Sunlight: Display away from direct sunlight to preserve the vibrancy of the hand-painted pigments.
